About the Concrete Sports Projects

With concrete bowling, the object is to fabricate a ball from concrete. Teams then use their bowling balls to bowl three frames.

Concrete Bowling

Event designed to test the engineering skills, athletic agility, and team work of student teams. The scoring of the competition will be based on the following elements: asthetics and durability of the bowling ball, its performance in the bowling competition, and the team's creativity in developing a live skit.

Concrete Frisbee

In this event, students will design and construct a Frisbee made of concrete. It will test the students' abilities to become creative as they will need to design a frisbee that is both durable and practical. Scoring will be based on the following factors: aesthitics, weight, distance thrown in competition, throw accuracy, and durability.
